LO4 - Editing Process
Above are screenshots taken from Adobe Audition in which we edited together our radio show. we did it on multiple tracks in order to be able to see each section distinctively.
here you can see the edit for the radio jingle, this took a lot of time as I recorded the audio directly onto tracks for editing and it took multiple attempts to get the right sound. I also recorded the audio onto 3 different tracks in order to have my desired echo effect with the part saying "are you ready" which was intended to make audiences more drawn in and engaged by increasing the tension throughout the jingle, then when the tension was highest i introduced the name of the radio station, this was so that all the attention was gathered to make the promotion of the identity more successful. It also made it more appropriate for our target audience as it was very intense and energetic which matches the genres of music in which they are most interested in and also give consistency to our broadcast as to the genre of music that we will be playing.
I had to adjust the audio volume for some of the tracks as some of them were conflicting, particularly track 2 and 1 which are the main tracks in terms of audio with the others just being there for effect, however even though the sound volume is decreasing when the sound on track 1 is playing, the sound is conflicting and track 2 overpowers track 1 so I had to isolate that section of the track to be able to decrease the sound quality, the reason I did this instead of simply increasing the snippet
